Regrettably, Shine On International Trust cannot undertake the task alone, owing to considerable financial requirements that are needed to implement certain projects from time to time. To this end, Shine On International Trust earnestly seeks financial partnership and/or collaboration with like-minded institutions.
We are strong proponents of an inter-agency approach to community development and we endeavour to fully co-operate with partners, as well as co-explore all situations for the benefit of our mutual beneficiaries. We take cognisance of the fact that partnerships and collaborations lead to the collective integration and pooling of resources. We are also of the compelling belief that such relationships are both critical and indispensable for social transformation and sustainable development, especially given the Zimbabwean situation where the state is basically unable to provide crucial social support services. However we also note, with caution, that inter-agency work requires closer co-operative models which must be constantly explored in order to seamlessly adapt to sudden seismic socio-economic changes that may be brought about by periodic shocks emanating from economic decline.
We thus seek the social inclusion of the disadvantaged and marginalised segment of people with disabilities, with the help and assistance of our valued partners who will voluntarily cooperate with enthusiasm to achieve the desired outcomes.
